Love it here!!!
Nice little neighborhood park. Named after the Gaithersburg Director of Parks and Recreation. Not to crowded which is good these days. I've driven past it many times as I live in the Village. Today I was out early getting my Fitbit steps in and decided to cross the street and check it out. Since I'm a trail horse this is a big deal. It's very well shaded.
It's a nice little park but the wood for the patio and the little bridge old kinda scary, to walk on.
Update: Currently closed for stream restoration project construction going on.
Beautiful park with a nice river running through it. Don't wear dressy clothes, they will get muddy. Otherwise, it's seriously enjoyable, a great example of the natural beauty of the National Capital Region.
