What a great hike today. Been there many times but today was the best. Many trails. Our route today was the longest I've taken here (about 3.5 miles) and part of it was next to a beautiful stream full of boulders through the woods then up a long hill to a great rock formation overlook. Enjoy.
What a great place! Well marked wooded trails, a beautiful stream, random rock outcroppings. A great place to take in nature. It can be muddy and spots!
Always a great family hike. Cool big rocks to climb on, lots of fun playing in the water.
Easy parking, easy signs to follow. A variety of trails. A bit muddy in parts this time of year. Quiet with occasional sounds of birds in the meadow.
Great terrain - rock outcroppings, hills and vales, fields, and the Hawlings river with a tunnel of mountain laurel. Good full loop hike for an hour+.
