Read on...this review is still pending outcome (UPDATE at bottom of review). This is my second vehicle purchased from CarMax of Gaithersburg. The process is easy, the prices are fair and people are friendly. However, mistakes were made in my purchase and I've now contacted CarMax twice to get it straightened out. Both times they said they call me back with an answer...I'm still waiting. I'll call on Monday for the third time and hope for resolution. I'm not saying don't use CarMax, many large conglomerates have PR issues...I'm saying let me get this figured out and I'll update this review to say their still worth your time.nUPDATE: CarMax apologized and sorted everything out. My 5 star rating stands. We're all human and mistakes happen, what's important is setting things right...and that's what CarMax did. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My visit at CarMax was incredibly well orchestrated! From the write up process to making sure the repairs were done right the first time. I would highly recommend CarMax to my friends and neighbors.

Fantastic. I have purchased three vehicles from this Carmax over the past 12 years and I have been delighted every time. My cars have run v well/good quality at a good price. My most recent car was during the pandemic and they handled everything perfectly, v safety aware. Everyone here is great, at all levels! 10/10 v highly recommend.

Such professional and welcoming staff. They offered the strongest amount for our trade--the steps were explained in detail and the actual appraisal and trade-in process was efficient and exactly as anticipated!

It took a little longer than we anticipated but all of your employees were courteous and professional. The price offered was a little low, but fair.nnWe are most interested in where our beloved Range Rover ends up as she served us well for 12 years.
