I'll start by saying that I ordered the chicken and sausage gumbo and was previously warned that the food here was mediocre, but I decided to try it anyways. The gumbo came in what I like to call a large saucer. The gumbo didn't even reach halfway up the dip of the spoon and the potato salad tasted really fresh.. but not in a good way. Reminded me of tide pods.. Not that I've eaten those or anything.. but overall I should have just stuck with the free crackers that came before my food instead of paying $13.01 for this meal.
Absolutely outstanding!!! Great food, second to none. Management and the crew are top of the line, and make you feel at home. We will be return customers.
Great decor. Service was good and friendly. Food over priced for what you get. Gumbo rue tasted burnt. Ribeye steak was over cooked and little flavor
Overpriced. A catfish plate was 18.99 for 2 pieces of fried catfish a twice baked potato.small salad that was brought to the table half way through the meal. The waitress apologized saying she forgot to bring the salad. She was nice but the manager acted like a bull dog. I will never go back. Even if the food was free. Manager very rude!
I LOVED the seafood and smoked bacon eggrollsud83dude0b. The seafood & fries were delicious the next day, too! The employees are all so sweet & the band was such a nice touch, especially since we went on Valentine's Day! They handed every woman a flower at the entrance & the restaurant was decorated so pretty! The best was watching people cut a rug while eating some good food! Will definitely be back!!!.....again! ud83dude01
