As a graduate of the magnet program in the mid 90s, I topped off a good education with a great one that couldn't have been taught in college. My French teacher was fluent in four languages. Though I'd been acing this class in DeRidder, I found her students were much more advanced. The English teachers cared about the students AND their grades. The Art class and graphic arts classes had potential but room for growth. Computer science had a teacher that explained everything in such a matter-of-fact, clear and non intimidating way possible.nnTimes have changed and from what i understand they are falling behind again educationally; but the heart of the staff remains the same.
Its a great school. Only ignorant people say its bad but its not i went to Lagrange and it was horrible there i transfered to WM and its much better than the stories i hear.
I'll always love my school!! Learned a lot here.

Its not a good school, they don't know how to do their jobs correctly because so many students are out of the class rooms and I swear that school must have the worse grades in the parish.
