I graduated from Barbe in 2007. Overall, I enjoyed my time there. I would recommend sending your children to this school. The music and art programs are wonderful and the athletic teams are some of the best in the area. They offer gifted classes, which is awesome! Also, the campus layout is not like any other schools' in the area.

Overall after attending this school I will say it is probably the best public school in Lake Charles but some of the faculty are just beyond stupid, (had a teacher show up late to 1st hour because she had a hangover so the principals sat in our class until she got there). The kids are terrible with bullying so teach your kids to be tough. There are alot of activities to join though and some teachers are AMAZING.
