From New Orleans working in Lake Charles, I’ve been to a number of soul food restaurants. This one deserves five stars. I’m a picky eater;however, this is the only restaurant experience whereby I eat everything served. Good job Southern Spiceud83dudc4dud83cudffd

The green beans were damned good. And I hate green beans. They know how to wake up some food. I'll be back soon

Horrible delivery experience...food is bland. They didn't give any type of condiments or plastic ware. On a high note the French toast was very good. I should have took the sign when my order wasn't confirmed for about 45 minutes. Horrible whenever I'm in town I will never waste my money here again.

Southern Spice is a staple in the Lake Area. Great gumbo and filling plate lunches, not to mention the best wait staff in town.
