Excellent! Valentine's dinner, and asked for a wine pairing for each coarse for an amazing dinner with great wines and delicious food!
A dining experience at La Truffe Sauvage is always a culinary delight, but with the current situation with COVID-19, I wasn’t convinced that the experience could be translated well to take-out food. I’m happy to report that my doubts were unfounded.nnThis evening we saw a special announced on the Facebook page for the Paella València for Two. This was an amazingly large portion of Saffron risotto, fire roasted peppers, sweet peas, and fresh seafood including shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels, fish, squid, and some chicken. The last paella we ate was is Spain, and this was on par with the ones we enjoyed there. The dish served two of us with plenty to spare, saving room for dessert: one the best Napoleons I’ve ever eaten.nnIf you have any doubts about getting a quality meal by takeout from La Truffe Sauvage, worry no more. This meal was truly exceptional.
Highly recommended. Lacked any service. Rude waiter. No water refills, pour our own wine, 39th anniversary they could have cared less. Food was great but WAIT STAFF KILLED IT. DINING ROOM WAS LOUD AND HAD NONE OF THE AMBIANCE I WAS TOLD ABOUT.nONCE I COMPLAINED ABOUT NO WATER REFILLS THEY WERE DONE W US.nTHEIR REPUTATION HAS WORN OUT AND PLEASE DO NOT BLAME IT ON COVID.nFRANK RESCUED MY WIFE FROM POURING HER OWN WINE AND WAS A GREAT GUY WHO I WISH HAD SERVED US.nRECOMMEND FIND ANOTHER RESTUARANTnSOOOO SAD TO WASTE OUR NIGHT AND $257.
Saturday Dinner Delight!nnOur dining experience was an absolute joy. As it ALWAYS is here. From our arrival to our departure- Saturday was a much need decompression from the stress of the week. The food was fantastic. Nothing artificial here. Foie Gras, heaven. The wine list, heaven again. Delicious!nnLiterally. Everything we ordered was fantastic. It reminded me of this little restaurant in Montmartre, Paris. The wait staff was incredible. Confident, Knowledgeable, Friendly... And all handsome. Ryan, Paul, Kaliel and Frank truly understand and anticipant the guests every need. The restaurant was busy and we had a later reservation. However - We did not lack for anything. The staff was so inviting. Service, cuisine, fellowship far exceeded our expectations.nnUnfortunately - there was a sourness of our night-nnAn obnoxious couple (he) who complained from the time he walked in- until the time he walked out ...he made it known to the entire restaurant. After observing this, we became intrigued. He basically invited us to join them for dinner. The sour part of our experience was having to share the same a dining room with this hulk of a person!nHe needed water obsessively. Mind you, the staff was at times was overly attentive.nHe used expletives the entire time he was a guest. I am surprised the server did not invite him to just leave. Wait! It gets better-nWe continued to ease drop their conversation, it seemed, he was totally playing the staff (most likely wanted something for free). I applaud the staff for standing up to him and calling him out. He started canceling orders once he realized he was not gonna score a free dinner. Looser. He paid. Learned later he stiffed the staff. People like this don’t serve a reservation.nGreat night. Enjoyed the show! We look forward visiting again, SOON!
Excellent fine dining in a cozy, peaceful atmosphere. Everything we ate was exceptional, from appetizers to the perfect soufflé at the end. Very nice cocktails as well. Service was perfect. Would highly recommmend, a hidden gem
