TaD's Louisiana Cooking- Lake Charles

Food was good. No complaints on the food but both times I've been there, the servers weren't the greatest. They told us we couldn't sit out doors because they had no one to serve us out there but then found out later that they were seating guests out door.

I waited over an hour for a seafood salad during lunch hour, then when I finally received it. I had several strands of hair in it! The waiter quickly grabbed it after noticing it an said a quick sorry an left! As she was walking off I said I didn't want another one! I waited for her to return an she didn't!! I walked to the front to talk to the manager an she didn't even say sorry she just had excuses on why it possibly took so long! I shall not return!

Had a great lunch here and ordered off the lunch menu. Enough food to make you not want to do any work afterwards. Food quality was excellent and ample. Our server Bethany was nothing short of excellent even during the hectic rush.

The food was great. This is a definite alternative to Steamboat Bills. The portion sizes are pretty big, so consider splitting a meal with someone.

We were greeted at the door. Hostess went right away to clean a booth and seated us. Waitresses came and took drink and appetizers orders.nDelivered drinks and took our order.nThis is where it all feel apart.nTook our meal over 25 minutes. Several tables in after us received their food. So we ask about a salad that hadn't ever arrived. We were told they were making fresh because the dishes were not properly cleaned. Ok thanks.nWell our food finally arrived but still no salad and the same story.nI ordered a cup of Jambalaya what was served was a bowl of gumbo with no broth over rice and somewhat stirred together. I brought this to the server attention and it was yes this is what they done sorry what we had.!!!!! REALLY. So after being ignored about it I asked to speak to manager. He came out said yes this is what we had but I can have them make some fresh in about 5 minutes. REALLY!!!! took 25 minutes to get this so why wasn't I served the proper dish if that's all it takes. He replied sorry do you want me to fix it or take it off bill. Ha no thank's. I told him I just wanted him to know because you can't fix something if your not aware, that's all I wanted. Then has the nerve to say I should have let them know b4 having the 3 bites I took of it. AGAIN REALLY!!!!! I DIDnSo 65$ later we walked out not having a very good experience.nRestaurant was extremely dirty. Restroom was just nasty. No soap, No soap dispenser.nThe reason for 1 star was so I could leave a review. No star was deserved.
