This restaurant quickly became a local favorite in the downtown area. Their menu is fresh and creative. I look forward to when it reopens.
Love this place, it is small and need to have a reservation. The service and cocktails are amazing. We started off with the fried green tomatoes with shrimp and jalapeno remoulade sauce, we liked that so much that we ordered the crab cakes which had the jalapeno remoulade sauce as well. We shared the BBQshrimp and grits and had a side of risotto with it, all were amazing. We finished off our meal with the bread pudding and coffeen(Very Louisiana style!!). I highly recommend this restaurant.
Brunch is amazing....... 7 of us went. I did make reservations and we were taken immediately. Kade was our server. All of the food was better than anticipated. Chicken and waffles, crab cake croissant, stuffed french toast, biscuit and gravy, shrimp and grits and the burger....... Will be a monthly stop.
Ate lunch here with two friends. Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive waitstaff.nnFood was equally impressive. Appetizer of poutine was outstanding! Good variety of burgers, sandwiches. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town.
Great atmosphere, nice location, but not the best place to have brunch. If you are very picky about food, consider other options. Kitchen should do better work and remember that poached eggs shouldn't be cooked all the way.
