Freedom Park - Atomic Cannon

Haven't been able to access the main part (high ground) for years now.

We’ve been coming here for pictures for the last 15yrs. The grounds need a good redo & upkeep is slim to none. The handrail up top has seemed to have broken away & is a major hazard hence the trail being closed.nWith a little TLC, this military landmark can last for generations to come.

Nice little park to stop and have a quick picnic right off I70.Trails also.

The park was an eceptional area for the grandkids (We had six of 11 with us) to let off steam. They had a lot of fun!

Very interesting and is a nice hike. Trail is currently closed for unknown reasons.
