I was a student there for k-4, it was amazing. The teachers are nice, the teachers are good at what they do, they even teach the kids a grade level ahead before the year ends. The principles are NOT rude. And it is overall a wonderful experience for kids.nnPS.nThe bathrooms are fine

We're totally enjoying the Amana experience...it's a journey for parents as you grow with your child through elementary school. Amana always strives to improve their level of parent engagement, student experience, and community support. This may not be a school for every parent, because Amana promotes parental presence as a significant factor towards your child's learning success. If you're looking for an educational journey that encourages your child to recognize their value, establish a sense of citizenship, and respect the importance of diversity...go to an Info Session (next one is Sunday, January 12 at 2pm ET) or check out the school website to find out more about the great opportunity provided through Amana Academy!

To be honest, this school didn’t really prepare me for high school. I was never taught good study habits or organizational skills needed for high school classes. I was taught about leadership and learning, which is an important aspect of high school, but it’s not the entire thing. I feel unprepared in some of my classes, as well as when I prepare for a test or quiz. Extra credit may be needed in the middle school level but is not provided in my high school, so I came to high school thinking I would receive extra credit or retakes when I didn’t. I think the main thing Amana should focus on truly is the real preparation for high school and the standards.
