I went to tropical smoothie last week and the cashier rung up my bowl and my boyfriends smoothie for $22! I questioned the amount and I was responded to with attitude when I told her it should be half that. She told me that “prices had gone up” when we paid. The manager ended up coming out, saw the amount and fixed it for us. When the manager confronted the worker she just gave attitude!nnYesterday I went to tropical smoothie again, wanting a smoothie for a hot day. I’m celiac and very allergic to gluten (oats included) so I order my smoothie without oats. All of the workers were messing around and laughing and not doing their jobs and we’re acting completely unprofessional. They messed up the guys order before us too. I ended up waiting for over 10 minutes for my two smoothies along with a few others. Today waking up I’m miserable. Allergies are NOTHING to mess around with so if they don’t take orders and their jobs seriously then I will and am finding somewhere else to take my business.

I came here for the first time today. I of course had a few questions about how their smoothies were sweetened. The employee happily answered the questions. She was very knowledgeable of the menu items. I ended up getting. The island smoothie which was pretty good. The prices are about average for a fruit smoothie and you do get a nice size portion. The cafe itself is very cute. I really liked the decor.

I did not receive a smoothie I paid for after bringing them over $100 worth of business, called and was told that my name would go in a book for pick up the next time I visited. I came back, was shown that my name was not in the book and then called a liar by their store manager Jean. He told me no one fits the description of the man that was working that day, was unwilling to check my number on the caller ID or who was working that day. Honestly, I will be calling corporate since I have now made two trips to this store and had bad experiences both times. DO NOT waste your time with this store. The drive is worth it for competent staff. I mean seriously, how hard is it to make a smoothie?
