The food was good even though the warmer on the buffet wasn't keeping it very hot. Service was typical of a buffet place. Descent enough food and service that it is worth a stop.
The food used to be good here. But now everything is super sweet and oily. Not a single item tasted good.
I was treated very rude by the lady on the phone. I ordered food to be picked up an had to stop an pick up food for my kids which ended up causing us to wait longer than anticipated. I get a call to see if I was still picking up which I explained kindly what was going on. I then preceded to call back an let them know it was taking a little more longer and if I could ask for more time an to make a fresh order. I was told I had wasted her time as if I predicted this happening. It’s one thing when you have been a loyal customer for years to being mistreated very poorly over not being there on time to pick up an order. So I’ll be taking my business else where an will be referring any others away from this place! So unprofessional. Yes I end up cancelling my order after her having an attitude with me. I didn’t deserve that especially having 4 kids waiting to get their other food they were getting.
The food is good & I like the buffet but the staff could be a little friendlier and pay more attention to the customer as far as my last few visits?
They have one of the largest Buffets in Effingham with a large variety of foods to choose from, if you have someone who doesn't like Chinese food in your party they also carry corn nuggets, french fries, and chicken wings.
