I have been in the market for a new barber for a few months because COVID shut down my previous barber. I ended up picking this place after looking at reviews for several locations around my area. I called just after they opened and Mike picked up the phone and scheduled me in 30 minutes later. The place has an old school barber shop vibe to it but it is immaculate inside, cleanest environment I’ve been in.nnMike was my barber and he is nothing short of phenomenal. I walked in expecting a quick convo and a decent haircut but I got way more than I expected. He took his time to explain what he was doing and why he was doing things the certain way he was and absolutely nailed it. I can honestly say this is the best haircut I’ve had in years! If you come expecting an okay haircut you’re in for a rude awakening, you’re going to get a *top notch* haircut from a guy that knows his stuff and is passionate about what he does. I am going to be a customer for life just based off this first haircut.nnIf you are looking for a high quality cut by a professional who knows exactly what they’re doing, you need to see Mike at Capps Barbershop.

Mike was an excellent barber. Having just moved to the area I booked an appointment and arrived roughly 10 minutes early. He immediately greeted me upon walking in and was finishing up his client that was before me. He did a phenomenal job of understanding how I wanted my hair to look as well as asking about how often I got my haircut in order to extend the life of the haircut. I’d recommend Mike to anyone looking for a new barber and plan on making him my go to. Thanks Mike !

Very classy decor and staff is mostly friendly but not great at customer service. Service is inconsistent unless you’re a regular and have an appointment. I’ve been there 4 times. My best experience was asking for a “low cut” and I left nearly bald - but not disappointed. I actually liked it even though not what I asked for. My worst experience was walking in and sitting down for 10 minutes without being greeted by a single barber. I walked out and went to another shop.

Mike does a professional job and pays attention to the details. I worked with the same barber for years and after he left...am happy that Mike is my new barber.
