Joey's New York Pizza & Italian Restaurant

I am visiting from North Carolina and found Joey's on Google and was looking forward to supporting this business. When I arrived which was before closing, I was greeted and seated by the waitress. However, when asked if I could sit at another table so that I was socially distant from another family I was informed by the manager Michelle that the kitchen was closed. I am not sure if the kitchen was in fact closed or if asking to sit at another table was an issue. It would have been great if I was informed at the time I entered the restaurant that they were no longer serving guests.

Fantastic NY style pizza! Friendly quick service too. No draft beers but a nice wine selection to pair with their Italian specialties that I saw get delivered to other tables. Saturday night is popular as every table was full & they were doing a steady takeout business too. I look forward to eating there again!

Ordered a pizza from Joey's for the first time tonight. We have ordered from there before (veal parm sub and some pasta dishes) and it was awesome. Decided to give the pizza a go tonight. Well, if you like to eat your pizza with fork and knife, this is the place for you, if you're a folder like myself, you can't eat it. I am going to try to order it well done next time, and pending the results, Joey's will get a 5 star from me! Also, don't get me wrong, the flavor of the pizza is incredible, just don't normally eat NY style pizza with utensils.

Food is so good and friendly staff deserts are heavenly and very delicious
