Poles were being replaced and power was scheduled to be out for 6 hours. my wife is on oxygen, they said they could help us out. when they got ready to turn power off they brought over a generator with a cord to reach the oxygen concentrator so we didn't have to worry about time. the work was done quickly i had portable for her, but the battery would have needed charging in the car. luckily they were very quick, even if i did need to charge in car it would only have been maybe 20 minutes. very nice, efficient and polite. Thank you Potelco.

First was waiting for one month to disconnect gas line then to disconnect power line for a week now two weeks to reconnect power to temporary post. Crew came on scheduled day looked at it, took a picture and left when I called in customer service told me that something was blocking same time on construction property we had many workers who could clear anything from there way, but they have not told anyone anything and now have to wait one more week. They coast me so far over $8000 payroll to construction company for standby. They have monopoly for sure in the country, where it is against the law.

I'm told Potelco is the only contractor PSE uses for utility installation-thus it appears Potelco can get away with cancelling scheduled installs, not communicating with PSE case manager regarding rescheduled installation, and when you call Potelco-they can't give any information related to who is in charge of install, when installation is to occur etc etc. (secrecy) Local contractors inform me this is what Potelco does when they get behind in their work. We need another company to compete for PSE's business to thwart monopoly Potelco enjoys and abuses.

They replaced a power pole and turned of my power while doing it. That’s fine. The problem is that they told me it was happening on Monday but today is Thursday. Since I didn’t know it was happening, the power was shut off right in the middle of a very important conference call. This is inexcusably unprofessional behavior when you consider that people work from home now. On top of that they absolutely do not care. One of the workers lied to my face about the notification even though I have it in writing. I can’t condemn this type of behavior enough.

So the flagging company they use put there signs right in front of the garbage cans preventing a pick up so I moved the sign. Only to be told I'm going to jail they moved it back. So I moved it two more times and called the flagging company when the Forman working on the lines and two other workers came to my house in a threatening way. Told them to go not in a nice way. They moved the sign down the street and ultimately those trash cans were not picked up. Very rude employees who think they are the cops. Not ok especially at 8:30 in the morning. Very unprofessional!
