My experience was amazing! I saw Melissa and discussed what I wanted ahead of time so I had a plan going in. She was very professional, honest and knowledgeable. She did an incredible job with my coloring. The salon is super clean and everyone is super nice. If you’re thinking about doing fun colors, DO IT! Melissa will take great care of you for sure!!
I cant say enough about this place and Melissa in particular ...my hair (halfway down my back and THICK) was a SOLID MASS as I've spent lots of time in the hospital..normal shampoo and conditioner was not available. I thought for sure shaving my head was the only option.Melissa spent 7 hours just detangling, moved back her other appointments just to give me her time and effort. She then did a deep conditioning treatment,cut and style...TRULY REJUVENATED MY HAIR AND LIFE!! This review doesn't do this salon or Melissa enough justice...THANK YOU COLLECTIVE HAIR STUDIO AND MELISSA FOR HELPING ME GET MY CONFIDENCE AND LIFE BACK!! 99999999 STARS!!
Literally best haircut & color I’ve ever gotten. Melissa is AMAZING and gave me such a nice hair makeover I’ll forever be grateful for! My hair was super super long and years of box dye and she literally transformed it into this short black & magenta color combo. It looks freaking great and I’m sooo obsessed with it! The place is super clean, everyone is so nice and professional too! If you ever need a cut or color she’s the one to go to. If I could rate more than 5 stars on here I would. A friend recommended Beth for hair color. I'm in my 50's and my shoulder length hair was kind of a mess-brassy, dry, and the highlights were growing out and not flattering. Beth patiently and carefully explained to me the type of color she would use to improve my hair's condition and the shade she would select that would be more flattering and would better complement my skin tone. Beth did a wonderful job. My hair color and its condition has improved so much and looks so much better. Beth is an extremely talented colorist and as well as being funny and personable!
I'm new to the area and was asking people I know for a hairstylist, my go to person is in Miami. I was recommended to see Melissa and I was able to make an appointment pretty quick that worked around my hectic schedule. I was super nervous to try someone new, but as soon I walked in that door Melissa made me feel like we've known each other forever! She was super sweet and so professional and that's not even talking about my hair. OMG she left my hair feeling FABULOUS! My hair feels so healthy and looks gorgeous! She really did an AMAZING job and now thanks to her no more drives to Miami. I would definitely recommend Melissa to everyone! I can't wait to go back. Here's my before and after just so you can see how horrible my hair looked and how Melissa left it.
