I ordered four plates of food ($32.80) for dining in.nI realized I didn’t get a receipt til after I sat down. The cashiers excuse was that I didn’t ask for one. They had to ask for help on how to print one out.nWhen I went up to the register a third time for beverages, I was told to order my drinks til after the food comes out.nTwo plates came out at once, in a reasonable time. When we noticed the other two plates were taking a while, we told the cashier to put the other two plates in to-go boxes. Then around 20 minutes later the third plate came out in a to-go box with a bag, along with two other boxes for the already out plates.nThe two plates that had been out first were getting cold. We didn’t feel like waiting another 20 minutes for the fourth plate.nAsked the cashier can we get our money back for the missing plate because we’ve been waiting too long. We were told they’d call us when it’s ready. We were telling them no.nWe were telling them how long it’s been and the cashier laughed as if in disbelief. The worker was denying that we were there for that long, when I have time stamp evidence (text messages) from when we arrived there.nThen the worker yelled to the back “They said they’ve been here for an hour” in a mocking tone.nI could not believe the service. Telling them how do you expect people to eat cold food? How can you bring out a plate every 20 minutes? No explanation. No apology.nWe waited nearly 50 minutes total for all four plates of “alright” food to come out. That’s only because we were on them. When the last plate came out in a to-go box, we had to ask for a bag. When the other boxes had came with the bag. The cashier was displaying an attitude on her face, for simply going they’re job. They seemed annoyed to have had to print the receipt, get boxes and bags. Didn’t bother ordering the drinks because we didn’t want to wait another 50 minutes.nNo one apologized for the wait or the inconvenience.nFood is over priced as well. There was a separate customer who can agree “$4.50? $4.50 for corn on a cob?”nHighly do not recommend.

This is a response to the owners reply to Adrmn. Very unprofessional apology. “We apologize for the time YOU BELIEVE YOU’VE waited for the orders.” When I have time stamp evidence saying we waited nearly 50 minutes. If you so strongly believe that we did not wait that time, why bother giving a half apology at all?nYour excuse is this is a ice cream shop not a restaurant? Maybe take plates of food off the menu if you cannot manage it in a reasonable time? Hire more employees?nWe had no problem waiting, listening to the “Salsa Romantica” that was playing on the tv. The fact is still that we were there sitting for almost an hour. No matter how comforting the waiting lobby is, no one wants to wait almost an hour for there food. Don’t you think that is ridiculous?nYour “team” one cashier, was behaving rude, without a doubt. Naturally, the same energy was delivered back when the worker laughed at us (“make sure every customer is treated with respect”) and yelled to the back worker, which the video will clearly point out. Our end did say harsh words at this time. But that didn’t stop you from saying things back. Correct? The video footage can display that.nReviews are proof and that is why I am leaving this review for future customers. I still stand when I say I do not recommend this place.nI don’t know if this has to do with why the service was so slow but there were employees leaving/returning with some same man. Is this a way of carpool to/from work? Were they on the clock? I don’t know but you do.nI stand by my last review description.nDo not recommend.

Amazing comfort food and customer service. The owners are unbelievably sweet!!! Not too many places are this way anymore. Very impressed and I highly recommend :)

I recommend this place to anyone in Belle Glade. They have traditional favor of ice creams and snacks that you can’t resist...
