The bike trail around Apopka Lake is spectacular.. with each curve or bend, you see nature at its purest and unspoiled best. With the beautiful water, wetlands, sun, natural landscape, I felt like I was stepping into the truest sense of Florida. The wildlife is in abundance. I’ve been there several times now and plan to return often. It’s a magical place where I feel closet to God”s beauty and purpose. You feel connected to the earth and heavens all at once.
Intermediate trail on the old rail bed. Recently allowing vehicle traffic for bird watching and backseat lovin’. Area was flooded and repaired, still a solid place for a rocky trail ride most of the way. Take it all the way to Zellwood
Two Ohioans being foolish... beautiful sunset! But seeing a gator crossing over the trail as we were heading back to our car made us pick up our pace. ud83dude2c The trail is flat, well-maintained and an easy hike at the right time of day.
A beautiful park, well maintained. Be great for family pic ic and relaxing.
This a stellar spot for Sunset photo's all year round! Along with picknick tables & benches to enjoy the area, you can also access the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive from this park.
