Never knew the old owners, so I can't give a comparison to the past. Having said that, I love this place. I am new to knitting and this place is amazing. The moment you walk in you get a nice, happy vibe from the place. I took a beginning knitting class and it was fantastic. I am already finishing by first baby blanket!! Whenever I have a question, I just pop in or call and they bend over backwards to help me. Just an awesome experience.

Ignore anything negative you may have heard about the store in the past. There are new owners and they are lovely! I have been there many times when I go home to visit friends and family. After many rude interactions with the old owners, I was skeptical when a friend suggested I go back on my recent trip down. My mother, not the strongest knitter, was looking for some classes and people to knit with. We made our way over and we are both glad we did. The new owners are fantastic. The store has been cleaned up so there is more room to walk around. There is a much better selection of yarn. There is more high quality mixed with the less expensive and a larger variety of weights. They offered to wind by yarn (something they never did before) and I chatted with them while my mother registered for a sock class. They were fantastic about the class. They helped her pick out the yarn she would need and suggested she buy interchangeable needles (it was a class on knitting socks magic loop style). They ever went as far as calling the instructor to confirm details when they were unclear on something she needed for the class.nTwo weeks later, my mother has been thrilled with her class and finds them all much more agreeable and nicer than in the past. Make sure you stop at this place if you are even in Kendall.

I have been coming for over a year now, I started with private lessons in knitting with the owner,she had so much patience with me,I have had others try to teach me and I am a very tight knitter,they gave up,on me but Jenny,the owner walked me through the process with lots of love that she has for knitting.So I am now finishing up my 4th afghan as well as the classes on projects that she offers, I love the group of knitters and crochters that come throughout the week,they give you pointers as well which is very helpful,l do make my mistakes and have to rip out my work and start again,but Jenny or one her helpers are there to get back on track with their love of stitching as well,every one of is pleasant, I spend a lot of time here and what is said at the table stays at the table.Thanks for putting up me and I love all of youud83dude0a
