This beach is really nice and more secluded than many other local beaches. The sand is decent, but there was plenty of space to spread out. Its a historic African American beach. Definitely a top choice for relaxing and not being overcrowded.

It was really busy but patience enabled us to wait for a spot. It was a bit of a walk to the beach. The beach has character. Brush close to the water, making nice nooks to hide out in. Lots of rocks and wood though. Nice beach to relax on!

Much more easily accessible that Fort Myers Beach or Sanibel. The only downsides are limited parking and a 200+ yard walk to rest rooms (on the third floor with no elevator.) There is a thin strand of sand, but you can wade way out in the bay and the water is only knee deep.

An out of the way park that not many visit due to how off the beaten path it is. However go to one of the many fine pontoon rental establishments nearby and this is the perfect sandy beach to raft up and drop the hook on. It's an 'every time' stop whenever I'm sailing past.

A shallow beach, especially narrow at high tide. Lots of people fishing. Good for watching birds. May not always be the best for swimming, but good for watching the sunset. One long straight road in with paid parking on one side.
