Pleasant walk on a sunny Seattle summer morning. Not too crowded, though the parking lots were full. The Japanese maple we're beautiful to wander through. Folks were generally respectful of Covid distancing. Most were masked and tried to keep their 6 foot spacing. Cool breeze off the water was refreshing. Plantings we're well cared for. Great signage to help ID the trees and other plantings.

Superb! Spectacular! Beautiful day to walk around for hours thru this true oasis of Seattle...! What gorgeous gardens! So sorry to have to forgo going in the Japanese Garden as it is closed on Mondays but fewer people in the early afternoon was perfect time for keeping social distancing! A must see sure every autumn in wonderful splendor!!

This is a really nice park with beautiful plantings. I deducted stars because they have very little educational plant signage, no pamphlets or info outside of the (currently closed) visitor’s center, and the bathrooms are all locked. Even the Japanese Garden (that requires tickets and has staff on site,) had the bathrooms closed. The surrounding neighborhoods are mostly residential so you have to plan ahead with your party to ensure nobody will need the bathroom for at least a couple of hours. The park gets really crowded, so go during weekdays if you can. There were so many trails that we were still able to enjoy the walk, even on a crowded Sunday.

Amazing little park with a big park feel.. Quick nature walk. Perfect for a morning walk to start a nature day in Seattle and the surrounding areas. Go to the Point and have amazing views of the Eastbay and University of Washington, Alaska Airlines Field/Huskies Stadium. Walkable for all involved. Great 2hr experience, day or night, tho day is the ish.

Lovely place for a walk with some friends or for a picnic date. With many trails to walk and informative signs scattered throughout it's also a great place for kids. I've heard great things about the tea ceremonies that happen there, but due to the current health crisis I have been unable to attend. Though I look forward to being able to when the resume.
