What a quiet, beautiful sanctuary outside of LA! It's so peaceful. I went in the early spring so not a lot of flowers were in bloom but I will definitely go back when the lilac garden and the rose gardens are in bloom. It's also a great place to take the kiddies. Lots of room to run around and explore. It's also a romantic place for couples.

Love going to the gardens. Really reasonable entrance fee. And lots if walking trails. I've seen deer there a few times, never gets old. Have a nice cafe. Generous with serving and selection is nice and fresh. They have a newer restaurant there that I haven't been to yet.

It is a lovely place to spend a day, exploring all the gardens. There are parts that are uneven terrain so wear proper footwear.

I've been twice now, two years in a row. There were a few things that were different the second time. But both times I visited I enjoyed the sights and the thousands of lights that went into the displays. My favorite was the underwater scene at the Short House. It was also fun to pick a creature to find. I never saw the owl I was looking for so I had to go around again! It doesn't take very long to walk through the Garden D'lights, but there is a gift shop and a coffee shop inside the grounds so you can linger if you want to. Try to pick a night that is clear or bundle up with waterproof outerwear. Don't bring umbrellas! Both nights I went it was sprinkling. It can be crowded so be patient, it's worth the hassle.

This place is awesome. The lights are so cute and creative and it is super family-friendly. I like that it is one simple loop so no one can get lost easily. I just wish it was bigger. I wanted even more amazing lights!!
