This is a really great place to go for all levels of pole vault. Bobby helps beginners learn the basics and has a pit that is very safe and well maintained. He also instructs experienced vaulters and gives helpful techniques to allow them to reach their goal heights. Going here has helped me PR this year and last year. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to improve their technique.
Bobby is definitely one of the best coaches in the country and in Florida! The facility at pole vault city is perfect for improving. The facility has all the poles you would need and more and with about 60ft of indoor runway weather is generally not a problem! If you want to have fun, pole vault, improve, and listen to music pole vault city is the place for you! I am a currant high school senior and am ranked 1st in 4A and I go to pole vault city in order to prepare for each competition. I drive after school an hour each way to get training and it’s definitely worth the drive!
Coach Bobby is just what you want no matter if you are just learning or if contending for a state championship. He's knowledgeable, fun, and a great teacher. My girls just started vaulting and he got them immediately running to the pit and vaulting. We look forward to them progressing and most of all, enjoying the learning and having fun.
We flew all the way from Pittsburgh, Pa to work with Coach Bobby. He is truly phenomenal. In just one weekend, my daughter set a new PR in her first section meet after camp. The hospitality we were shown was genuine and greatly appreciated. His passion for the sport is unparalleled!
If history repeats itself, then this is where you want to train. If you are a beginner or a seasoned vaulter, and want that extra measure of training, Coach Bobby and Pole Vault City is where you go! Technical and a great motivator helped our daughter to FHSAA states consecutive years.
