Binford Middle School

As a parent of three students (one current and two graduates), I've been involved with the students, staff and administration of Binford Middle School for five years, as of this writing. Binford has a committed administrative team and staff; they bring about the most effective student outcomes by bringing the necessary values to achieve those ends. Graduating students are prepared to meet the rigors of the most demanding secondary schools, and are provided the means to develop the academic integrity and confidence to compete globally.nnIf you have a child demonstrating the wherewithal to be challenged at the highest levels, Binford could be the school you've been looking for. Binford employs the Arts Integration - IB Springboard, which is the flagship curriculum used in some of America's most successful schools, and, it has an administrative team and staff in place aptly capable of utilizing it to extract the very best student performance.nnTake the time to take a close look at Binford, you'll be glad you did!

The kitchen staff is really splendid. They take the food that is to be prepared for the kids (Monday) & carefully arranged the cornmeal breaded fish planks on sparkling clean baking sheets & put each tray in the ovens for hot food when the kids streamed in at 10:45. The mac & cheese was creamy & easy to eat. I'd probably sneak a hot dog cut up in mine, but it's a nice simple starch just as it is that is easy on the stomach & great on cold days. The kitchen staff are like Santa's elves preparing & fixing things so nicely. Different sauce packets & utensils are out for choosing & vegetables looked good also. Snaps were served today with the fish or Salisbury steak. Everything was put out & served pleasantly, tidy & clean. They worked well together too. I was just a volunteer today. The food tasted good & looked nice too. Glad to be there & wanted. Look forward to returning tomorrow. Pomegranates are on the lunch menu tomorrow. Fun to try different foods. Not sure how to get into them but google will know! What a pretty school & beautiful building. The auditorium is grand. Much to be proud of indeed. What an honor. One of the kids let me in after I moved my truck. Really nice. The custodial staff zipped around like Santa's elves too making things shiny & clean for all. No easy job in a large building. Good team & welcoming. Only good things to say about Binford Middle School from a volunteer perspective.
