Fantastic. Just moved to Jackson Ward and am still eating my way through, this place is a gem. We were able to get a table by the bar on a Friday night, without reservations for the two of us. Great service, delicious cocktails, ambiance is cozy, details are thoughtful, and just amazing food. Was just really special to experience something refined just a walk away from my house and it made our Valentine weekend so special.
Everything was very nice. The wait time was not very long. The only thing I didn't like was our seating. We were near the restroom. Other than that the service was excellent.
I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is great and the crew is very friendly and cooperative. always when we visit this place we pass a gorgeous evening. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience! Great atmosphere with delicious food. Escargot and charcuterie plates are delicious. Ribeye as well as seafood dishes are perfect. Modern French cuisine. Made us repeat customers.
The food from Max's was unbelievable for our Thanksgiving meal, but it wasn't just the food that spoke to me, it was the care and compassion of a wonderful chef and sous chef that made my family's 1st Thanksgiving without my father special. THANK YOU so much for the kindness you displayed... you prepared 12 different meals to perfection on Thanksgiving day. It absolutely meant the world to us.
