Absolutely loved it here! So much of Richmond's history! Lots of great walking and biking trails and tons to explore! Pack a picnic and make a whole day out of it!
Go and walk on the suspension bridge. It's like nothing I've ever seen. Definitely a friendly area for walking and biking. Truly a gem of the Richmond area. You should take the whole family. Would be a hit for sure.
It was more derelict than i was led to believe. I imagined a CLEAN, WELL LIT area with benches, trash cans and more parking spots. I WAS GROSSLY DISAPPOINTED
As good parking lots can be, I guess? It was a Sunday and pretty nice outside so it was BUSY, we parked in the Tredigar Lot because the free lot was full. Didn't stay long and paid $3 to get out the lot, not sure if the price goes up as time goes on, there was nothing posted that I saw.
Very crowded on weekends, but a wonderful place to hike to Belle Isle.
