Lauterbach Electric

We called several electricians in the Richmond area based off of referrals and reviews from others. Lauterbach was one of two companies that showed up on time and on the day they said they'd come by to check out the projects for a quote. We needed someone to check out a faulty attic fan, remove a couple of ill-placed recessed lights, rewire and install a ceiling fan, and install a grounded outside outlet in our backyard.nnDwane was extremely professional and helpful even before he ever knew we were going to select his company for the project. He squirreled up into our attic and checked out an attic fan that we didn't know much about. A previous electrician (without going into the attic) said that it sounded like we had a gable fan and ran a quote based off that assumption that was twice the price of what Lauterbach quoted. Dwane got into the attic himself and confirmed the type of fan it was, if it was currently wired, and if it was completely broken as we had suspected. He even disconnected the fan prior to leaving and told us to contact a roofer to have it removed - so that we could tell roofers definitively that it could be removed safely.nnDwayne got us a quote for the project within 24 hours, and we set up a day to have the work done within that same week. Barry and Kenny came by at 7:30 AM the day of the project - as they said they would! - and immediately got to work. They completed all of the project (except the attic fan since that's reliant on roofers currently) before lunch and were very kind and respectful of wearing a mask while inside the house (properly, no noses).nnThe price aligned with the quote, and they carted the old recessed lights out as well so we didn't have to fuss over it.nnThis entire project from first contact to completing the project was completed before the first electrician that came out for a quote had even returned HIS quote for consideration.nnWe will 100% be using them for future work and referring them to all family and friends.

It was so hard to find an electrician with the time, energy, and patience that Lauterbach has. They communicate well, are reliable, and do great work. I would work with them again and also highly recommend them for any project.

I've worked with quite a few electrical contractors over the course of my career in construction, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Lauterbach over almost anyone. I've found them to be competitively priced, honest, responsive, and most importantly they do great work. If you need an electrician you can place your trust in, who will show up when they say they will, and whose craftsmanship is top notch, call them. You will not be disappointed!

The Lauterbach folks did a great job installing our new front house lights. Our older lights were smaller and pulling away from the siding. We texted pics and measurements back and forth and they got the perfect hardware to hang the new fixtures. Came out fantastic. I also had them move a 220v outlet for a newly delivered electric stove - and that was done in 10 minutes. We'll use Lauterbach many more times!
