Love this sweet little libbie spot! I’ve been in before but today came to use my Richmond Experience member perk for a free latte! So kind. Maria was friendly and welcoming and even helped me out when I realized I left my mask in the car and provided one for me. She recommended the salted caramel latte with oat milk and it did not disappoint! Really good caramel and coffee flavor without being watery the way oat milk can sometimes be. I can’t wait to come back again soon! A+ addition to this cute neighborhood.

I got a cup of their decafe Ethiopian. The flavors were awesome! But it was a bit watery. I look forward to buying a bag of beans to brew myself

Group of 10 just finished a run in front of Grit hoping to give it a try. Hours online and on door say open at 7am but it's locked up and dark. I'll give it another shot another time and hopefully they will be open.

The line was frustratingly long and they appeared undee-staffed as there was only one employee present.nnWe ordered a seasonal drink and a vanilla latte and were disappointed. We were hoping to take a bag of whole beans to go home but everything there was pre-ground.nnWe are not local but would give it another shot when we are in town next. We are not excited to return but hope for a better experience next time

We decided to visit here yesterday (12/4) since we were in the area. The coffee was great and the staff was very friendly. This would have been an easy 5 star review; however, I removed a star simply because they charge $1 for non-dairy milk. I completely understand why businesses charge for non-dairy milk since it costs more than regular milk, but I think it’s a shame that they do this because it seems like a slap in the face to people that can’t have dairy to charge them for their medical condition, and a dollar is a pretty steep charge to have to pay if you frequent this place. If they lowered (or get rid of, as I feel all businesses should) the charge for the almond/oat milk, I would give them 5 stars. Come on owners of grit coffee, there are a lot of other coffee shops in the area that don’t charge for non-dairy milk, and I think your coffee is better than a lot of them. So please stop charging people for their medical condition.
