I attended BTW in 2011, and as someone who ended up going to a total of 6 high schools, Booker T is definitely the worst one I'd ever been to. The condition of he school was horrid back then, and I'm sure it's even worse now. The teachers that I had were passionate for the most part, the others were just really tired of the school and the rude, misbehaving, disrespectful kids they had to experience every day. That's understandable- students get away with SO MUCH at this school. The area is very impoverished, so there is a lot of the baggage that comes along with that.nI was on the field hockey & track teams - my coaches and team were the source of so much support and happiness! I don't know if Mr. McMillin - the weight instructor - is still there, but he was AWESOME, too! Ultimately, if you want to be great as a student, or if you want your child to be great, they NEED to be in the Advanced Placement courses or, at least, the Honors courses. At a school like this, great students stand out and shine the BRIGHTEST - use that to your advantage. Otherwise, you run the risk of your kid (or yourself) falling into the wrong crowd.

I honestly think that booker t need to be re-modeled inside and need to have more strike teachers and staff because like every one is saying kids are very disrespectful....What do y'all think we should do about their behavior?? Help fix it? Be more strike? What should it be?? ud83dudcaf

My son agree there are rats and he don't eat the food and its a shame how the girls dress but they worry about the boys sagging pants
