This park needs some neighborhood TLC for sure. It’s like the city put up a swing set, a couple park rules signs, a (not even) half-finished fence, and called it a day. There isn’t even a sign for the park; which, if you ask me, is a major missed opportunity given the name.nnThe live oaks are the main, and only, attraction. This area is more set up like an undeveloped lot than an actual park. Which is fine; but a jogging path, fixed tree borders/barriers (some are falling down,) and finishing or just removing the fence that only goes about one tenth the way around would go a long way.nnNow that the Tidewater/OV Ave intersection has been redone, there is plenty of room to expand this park and maybe add a few recreational fields adjacent.

Too much traffic! Area seems to be an easy access to the beach. This looks like a good location to stay. But terrible to drive thru!
