Poquoson did themselves proud with this park. Lots of parking, handicap accessible, wonderful facilities. On Aug 21, 2019, the Wildlife center of Virginia set a young Bald Eagle free. Lots of folk turbed out for the release. Kids loved it as well as the public in general.
It was nice to get out there has small playground also would be nicer if the city put some more money out there to build it bigger for children to play more consistently. Possibly a small bathroom building with water fountains and more physical activities pieces to the park possibly add a concession booth to the small building. Just some small ideas for the future.

Beautiful park great fields for soccer
Great place to visit. Its overran with geese, dont take dogs there,goose poop will make very sick. Path covered in poop
