Very nice urban park. Lots of hard surface, some brick some concrete. Good place to just chill and take a break while looking out over the river. Good place for small kids to ride a bike.
Great use of other wise wasted space. It's a nice little park on the water. Once you get in it and start looking around. There are interesting facts about Hampton. So you can hanout in a park by the water and learn some local history. That pretty awesome if you ask me.
Rudimentary yet educational.
No swimming, no fishing, no bikes, no skateboards, No Skating, and No loitering. -Sign at the parknnParking is shady in both senses of the word. At three in the afternoon a park gate near the parking spaces was closed I’m disabled but I enjoy kayaking. I was teaching our young man to kayak out of there and I had to take the long way around to get to the pier. I’m Disabled and this place is not friendly to the disabled. Bringing a 75 pound tandem kayak the long way around was rough. There are also not enough benches.
