I have to say that Laura Bazemore is AMAZING!! I do not have an accounting/bookkeeping background so making sure that I am doing the correct steps in keeping our business organized is my highest priority. Laura has been patient, guiding and supportive through all my mistakes and growth as I become a strong foundation of our business. It would have been easy just to hand over the reigns and have her manage everything however I want to learn and be the asset inside of the office and it was great for her to respect that and support that decision. It was very intimidating to have someone come in and critique the way that you do things as well as take the constructive feedback of what you were doing wrong. I never realized how much I needed a bookkeeper until I got one. Laura was able to quickly learn our existing and complex accounting system and make it work the way it's supposed to. There are a lot of software packages out there that are supposed to help business owners be able to DIY but it seems like you need to have a degree to understand how to use them. Laura has made herself invaluable to my business. The software runs the way it's supposed to and my stress level is under control. Laura has become more that just a bookkeep and has evolved into an real sounding board on how we are going to implement our growth.
