Only could play front 9 and the course was in excellent condition for all the rain they've had. Greens were super stupid fast. Will definitely play there again as they are in a good place for a trucker.

VERY cool old course. I was traveling looking for courses to play to break up the ride and I'm very glad I found Emporia CC. Called for a noon tee time on a Sunday and told me to come anytime, no tee time needed. (always a good idea to call ahead and confirm)..Very welcoming and only $35. Course is really fun. Small greens with a lot of pretty severe back to front slope. They're firm, but on the slower side, so you can get it close. I think a lot of people would have trouble shooting their handicap here on their first time around, so try to either play match play or be careful with your scoring expectations. The front nine is flatter, but has plenty of quirks. The back nine has more dramatic land, bigger greens, and is absolutely peaceful and gorgeous. It was a perfect finale to a Sandhills golf trip. Very pure.

Greens are nice and so is the fairway. I’ve been player everyday now.

Great place to walk and take the family
