Lloyd C. Bird High School’s varsity football team plays well, but does not behave nearly as well. The team is completely disrespectful and its coaches do not seem to care to improve the status of respect towards other groups/clubs or people in general. Bird HS also does not give the arts dept. any of the credit it deserves; it is not recognized by the school as much as it should be. The arts dept., including the marching band, does not recieve the same opportunities as some of the sports teams or engineering students do. The school’s general main priorities are focused on its football team and its engineering program.

I've been here since 11th grade then i moved to south Carolina for the rest of my 11th grade year. The staff was nice to me and all of that I am in a special ed class because I have a learning disability and they treated me and my friends and the same class like the regular kids in the regular class I miss my friends and I will be back to say goodbye to everyone I know so yeah I love y'all and good education and stuff bye.

I'm a sophomore this year (2017) and other than the druggies, the teachers are good and we have a good football team.

Theres a bit of a roach problem, baby mice, and the boys bathroom has mold ... gross... other than that its good. The principals be tripping mad hard and the office ladies are rude but hey the kids are nice.

This school deserves 0 stars, its very unclean, and Ive seen multiple cockroaches in the rooms, especially over the summer. Teachers are a hit and miss, and the school is way to focused on sports and their engineering kids that they've cut funding severely to the majority of art classes. I graduated in 2017 and my art class ended up with very little resources by the middle of the year. Administration sucks, they try way to hard to get into personal matters that do not consern them. Ive seen a assistant principle leave vefore the end of the year because he was the only decent person there other then the school officer. They need to do a huge renovation and re-hire some new staff who know how to properly deal eith students and bullying. You can not go to the administration and get anything done without being well known by them . Also my guidance counsler was a football coach and never helped me in anyway.
