Nice hike with decent elevation and a good length as well. Views at the top (east and west) are quite simply amazing. The ridge run as well is quite enjoyable. Definitely a must do for the area.

Mount Pleasant was a great moderate hike. The road up to the trailhead is gravel/dirt with numerous uneven areas, so taking a all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle is preferred. There are two overlooks (one of the valley and one of the mountains) with great views.

One of the best views you can get on a cloudy day with passing by clouds. Trial is not that hard and a round trip to east and west overlook took around 7 miles. We spent quite sometime at both overlooks to record timelapse of clouds and which turned out to be the best.

I’m not a regular hiker but I found this trail to be moderate. We only went to the east overlook snd the view was beautiful. The trail itself was through a beautiful forest. I was surprised to find that you drive three miles on a gravel road to get to the start of the trail...fyi.
