I go here regularly & this review is nothing about the quality of food but more so the issues with customer service.nn1) Hours of Operation - is not updated on the site or Google. If you're going to have reduced hours, on top of separate hours for in-dining vs. takeout than it would helpful to update this regularly. i.e. trying to make a pickup order but no one is answering.nn2) In-dining - last weekend I called to see when in-dining stopped, the guy that answered stated as long as I arrive before 7:30 PM. I had to remind that same answer to the owner after I drove 20 minutes to get there & dine-in. I just expect decent customer service if you choose to seat me; I normally receive a good wait staff so why is this an exception. The whole dining experience was rushed. We sat & asked for a normal booth, not a hibachi table. They got part of our orders wrong which we just left as is & we tried to add rice and a extra drink, but everything was closed. How is it closed when we just got seated? Why even make a 7:30 rule if you're going to provide low quality service?nnTo add, the owner is rude... she can stay rude it doesn't bother me but just had to put that on notice.

Food is in enough portion, with veggies and soup, which is great. But teriyaki is not authentic, they just use soy sources fried chicken and beef like Chinese style... different from Japanese style. Staff’s attitude is cold, no greetings when I came and no “thanks” when I left. I only could give 2 stars.

Food is amazing. Customer service... not so much. They are not open on Tuesdays but google doesn’t have that correct which is really disappointing when I get excited to order and call and they’re closed. When they are open it’s very difficult to get a call through. They’ll let the phone ring 20 times before they answer. Just now I called to order not realizing the were closed and it said “line busy” so I waited and called again then again .. and again... wish they had an answering machine when they’re not open... there is however one woman that works as a server that is very sweet. Takeout is just a huge pain

Horrible customer service. The old staff has not fully returned clearly and unfortunately their business will take a hit with the way they are treating customers. One of my absolute favorite restaurants and I’ll probably never return. Do better Osaka.

Osaka NEVER disappoints! Everything from Sushi to the various menu items to the Cocktails ....just Absolutely the BEST! So DELICIOUS you will clean your plate!
