Very please with the progress of our 8th grade son who is returning for his third and final year this fall! Consistent environment has worked wonders.nnUpdate - June 2018. Our son has graduated Hillside and this last year was the best yet. The Hillside School brought out the best in our son. He made Honor Roll for the whole year and their consistent and compassionate nurturing and focus all came together beautifully! I highly recommend the Hillside School for your son's success!

I am a current student at Hillside school. I first became interested in Hillside from speaking to a few recent graduates from the school that really loved Hillside. From the first time I shadowed at Hillside I knew it was the perfect school for me. I love the small classroom sizes and the relationships that I have with my teachers and coaches. I feel that they are always encouraging me to be successful and pushing me to reach all of my goals. I have gained more confidence than I ever could have imagined in school. We are taught to have respect, compassion, honesty, determination , and fun .I have made amazing friends from all over. I am looking forward to the next 3 years at Hillside school. I would recommend to tour or even shadow a student for a day.I am sure you will fall in love with it the same way I did!

I went to school at Hillside in 1966 and 1967. The Whitmores were the headmasters. Very nice and fair, conscientious and ethical people. Everything a kid could want, salamanders, soccer, forests, good food, some from a nearby farm, the milk was served in a metal pitcher and you could see the butter cream on it, scavenger hunts, I can still smell the paint from the arts and crafts building. Swimming pond, camping, movies in the dining area and quality teachers. Anybody remember Mrs. Crozier? She used to leave a piece of candy sitting on your desk for when you returned from recess. Every kid should of had a couple years there.

This school has taught me a lot. There wasn't one time that either a teacher or a student let me down. I've been there for three years and still pursuing my goal of being a DJ and with a help of any teacher they will try there best. Any teacher could help you independently.

Our son just finished his first year at Hillside. It was a amazing year!!! Hillside has a caring faculty that makes you feel like family the minute you step foot on campus . The boys that attend Hillside truly are young gentlemen. They strive to achieve success in all areas from academics , athletics and clubs. These boys are proud of there school! The teachers at Hillside have a dedication that I have never seen before. They truly dedicate their lives to these boys and their education. We are very proud to be apart of the Hillside Community and can't imagine our son anywhere else but Hillside! It is truly one of a kind!!
