offers a vast scenic vista across Worcester. To reach the overlook you’ll pass through a pretty corridor of paper birches and mountain laurel.

Awesome get away from the city. Will be back again. Back end of the trails could use more trail markers.

Beautiful, serene, and full of biting insects. Will review again in the Fall.

This land has a fascinating history, and the forest is quite peaceful. I highly recommend reading up on the area before a visit if local history interests you. It's also a great spot for Geocaching and letterboxing. The trails maintained by the Greater Worcester Land Trust lead to some pretty views, but it does get very buggy in the spring. The trail isn't very wide or smooth like a rail trail, and there are a couple of spots that pass over/through small brooks, so those of us with disabilities should take caution. Don't miss Deed Rock, just off the main trail.
