Takena Landing

The river trail has tons of river views and amazing big Cottonwood trees.nVolunteer opportunities are available to help keep the trail beautiful and inviting through the City of Albany's Adopt a Park Program. I've been helping spread wood chips to help with muddy spots. It's nice to get some exercise while getting to be next to the river.

Beautiful trail with 2 bald eagles living on the river. Highly recommend this trail.

We've been here a few times to take out our canoes and kayaks on long rides. This is a great place to do it because it has an easy to get to dock and easy access to the main road. We've also taken out at the park across the river but that doesn't have a dock and you have to carry your canoe a ways to get to the parking lot. This park has a concrete boat launch that makes it super easy.
