Food Pantry
I had never been to a Mennonite Church and was pleasantly surprised. They are a moderate/liberal congregation committed to Jesus, social justice and making peace in the community and around the world.nnThe members are diverse from teens, young families in jeans to mature elderly Mennonites in more traditional dress. The pastor is a young woman who has a charismatic speaking style and warm personality.nnAlthough I had no common heritage I was welcomed and accepted and can't believe the fears I had about the hats and how much they might be like the Amish.
