I have worked out with a personal trainer before and tried following YouTube videos of workout programs but there is so much bad content out there that it was hard to separate the good ones from the bad.nnWhat differentiates Candace from other trainers is the fact that she cares about clients outside training hours too. After the initial few workouts with her, she messaged us to ensure that we were doing good. She suggests workouts for us outside DIAKADI and recommends modifications so that we can do exercises with the limited equipment in our gym. She was also open to looking at videos of our workouts and give us feedback about what we were doing wrong.nnThe progress I have made while working out with Candace, both in terms of technique and the amount of weight I lift has been amazing. I have been progressing in every single exercise. Her workouts have been very effective for me.nnCandace's nutrition helped me lose 4lbs in the first month without following any unsustainable diet. I definitely recommend hiring Candace even if you've been working out for a while. She's someone who can help you correct your technique and form and speed up your progress to get leaner and fitter.
I’ve been training with Candace for about six months. She’s knowledgeable, helpful, and it’s been a delightful journey training with her. She helped me achieve my first 10 pushups which I’m super proud that I can do now even though it’s challenging. Candace is super organized and keeps a record of all my workouts so she makes sure I’m making progress each time I see her. I’ve lost 4 inches since training with her and I really feel the differences within my body. She’s also helped me gradually change my eating habits to eating more greens and vegetables at every meal even though I disliked vegetables. I’m more of a protein and carb type of person but she explained to me how eating more vegetables will help me with my digestion and long term goals. Overall it’s been a very positive experience training with her and I highly recommend her as a personal trainer.
I was gaining weight little by little each year for the past 5 years especially around my stomach, and I was not fitting into the clothes I wanted to wear so became self-conscious about how I looked.nnI decided to hire Candace and my experience has been great! I see her twice a week and dropped 7 pounds in 5 weeks without going on a diet. I'm surprised and proud of the progress I'm able to make so far, and I'm gaining strength every week. I highly recommend Candace especially for people who are like me and don't like to exercise. I never imagined myself loving training so much.nnPersonal training is far more effective and efficient than anything I'll try on my own. I also really love how Candace is knowledgable, supportive, helpful, and just fun to chat with, which is important for me if I'm going to see someone twice a week! It's a great experience training with Candace!
I worked with Candace for several sessions with a goal of increasing my mobility as a means of improving muscle strength. I've never actually worked with a trainer like Candace and really resonated with her approach. After an assessment of my goals, she spent time creating a program tailored especially for me, which included nutrition education, foam rolling, and alternating exercises for mobility and strength training. I think her background (MS!) in bio increased my confidence in her as a trainer too, and I liked how she was able to clearly explain they 'why' behind many of the exercises. I would highly recommend her!
It's been a great experience training with Candace and I look forward to my workouts with her! I tried personal training back in 2017 with someone else and after 4 months of working with them and eating clean I saw no changes.nnWhen I hired Candace she was very thorough during her consult. She took all these measurements - weight, body fat, metabolism, movement assessments and gave me an overview of her training programs. We spent time going over my goals, my lifestyle, and what has worked well for me and what hasn't worked to figure out the best approach.nnHer training programs are constructed thoughtfully and personalized to me. I've been getting stronger in the gym and in less than 3 months of training I lost 3 inches while building more tone just in time for my 30th birthday! It has a lot to do with her structured and tailored diet + fitness regimen she constructed and continues to work on for me.nnIt's been a great experience so far and I look forward to seeing more results!
