I love to get out and see the trees and smell the fresh air.
Important rest stop some 30 miles east of Newport. Only one along the highway 20 drive Newport - Philomath. Clean, well maintained restrooms. Picnic tables. Expansive grassy areas for dog walking.
Usually a great place to stop on the way to or from the coast, but the restrooms were closed today and the trashes overflowing...it was sad to see.
Great little place, quick pit stops
Well lit, good dog area, mid point between coast and valley.
