Amazing area in the beautiful nature on the Oregon coast. The Smith River runs along the road and has plenty of easy access points for camping/fishing/recreation. The water is super clear as well making it perfect for a swim on a hot summer day.
Amazing and so beautiful! I had to get rescued by Search and Rescue and I couldn’t have possibly had a better experience. I fell and broke my ankle going down the Cook’s Ridge trail-three miles in. They splinted my ankle with their coat and some sticks and were so calm and patient. I forever owe them!
Beautiful mtns. rivers & creeks in a lush forest.nExcellent for camping, hiking and fishing.
Grew up here, but love it more now as an adult. Always feels like home!
This national forests has all the beauty of the Oregon coast. With old growth forest.
