Benton Oaks RV Campground

Very quiet, loved the location, and the grounds are pretty with the oak trees. The Camp Staff is readily available and met us as we drove in at night to give us the packet of info. Friendly staff and clean facilities! Must stay here again! Thank you!!

Everyone I meet there was very kind. I liked how the bathrooms had locks. Very nice place for kids and bike riding.

Very clean and up kept. Acorns and leaves all over but it is winter. But restrooms where not clean and water was so cold when you took showers. It was very expensive for two weeks and kept getting the run around about long term when there are other long term campers. Loved the atmosphere and friendly neighbors.

Went to stay in a tent and was told no tent camping. Since we had picked up dinner beforehand to eat at our camp site, we stopped away from the camp ground that dosent allow tents to eat our dinner in the dark in a well lit area. Not only so we could see and eat our food but also a safe place to do so. After maybe 5 minutes here comes a man and said it was a security risk and told us to leave. I explained what we were doing but away we had to go. Bummer

Absolutely terrible RV park. Don’t give them your money. I camped here for a while and also lived here for a few months while going to university. Their rates are terrible, they have basically no amenities, and they kick you out for a couple months in the summer because of the fair and “maintenance,” except when you come back everything looks 10x worse than when you left. They let absolutely anyone camp here and don’t enforce anything and change the rules all the time. Campers with traps on them, and one time someone camped next to me who played with a chainsaw for hours on end for no reason?! The monthly’s they don’t background check at all, definitely ran into a fair share of creeps at this place. Terrible management. Which is a shame because it’s actually pretty scenic and pleasant on an average day. You’ve been warned!
