Great vibe and scene. Meal wasn't the best but I'd for sure go back to give them another shot - it was a Monday and we ate a little late, so by far not their fault. Bar staff and cocktails were really great and I'm looking forward to trying them again.
Our server was very kind and courteous. We did have to wait to be seated for at least 5 minutes, while having reservations. Our food was obviously an arduous endeavor: beautiful in presentation, however, so salty it overwhelmed the meal. We love the Northern and wish for their every success.
Setting: what a nice lounge and general dining area! Nothing you’d expect from downtown Billings, really a very very nice place.nnFood: it was been a couple weeks since I was there but what I remember most is high prices that did not meet expectations. I have heard the menu changes and maybe the options did not suite me. I would definitely return for a business meeting....if the company paidnnService: odd at first but became better as the evening went on. Waitress seemed new to being a waitress.
Excellent dining experience. Exceptional! The food was outstanding and delicious, prepared to perfection and the portions more than big. Dined with a friend and wanted to sample a couple of different dishes. When we mentioned that the waitress asked if we would like the kitchen to double plate for us. Made the experience even more rewarding.
