The service was personable, but not intrusive in any way. And the food...wow!! Every single thing I put in my mouth was outstanding: Brussels sprout appetizer, fresh peppers with ground cherries (I love trying new foods I've never even heard about!), and to say the pork chop with nectarines & walnuts is delicious is an understatement.
The Feildhouse is without a doubt my favorite table in Billings! It's a farm-to-table, with a coffee coffee house, and a gorgeous patio by the tracks. I can read, sip coffee, and gaze out at the train as it passes. The people that host the space are cool and kind. And the people that gather here are good company, good conversation!
Get here quick though! They have an awesome seasonal menu and the chicken sandwich could be gone next season we also got the chowder which was yummy/cozy but rather bland(but you might be needing that!!!) Have enjoyed the special and been delicious! The next door cafe's teas and coffee are also great!
We’re always looking for new and interesting places to eat whenever we travel, and The Fieldhouse on Minnesota St is not the typical Billings eatery. It is so much more. Based on our sampling, it became obvious that great attention and thought has gone into every detail of every item we ordered. In all, it was inspired and expertly prepared.
Simply amazing! Went in for a small lunch and celebratory lunch and couldn’t have been more pleased! My husband and i will definitely be making this a monthly date night dinner!
