We love Café Zydeco in Helena, and so we were excited to try the one in downtown Billings. It didn’t disappoint. I got a shrimp taco with extra swamp sauce... loved it!!! (It’s more like a burrito) the cabbage was crunchy and the spices were delicious!! I highly recommended this place.
We stopped in late afternoon on a Saturday, so we were the only ones there. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. Pleasantly surprised to find a Cajun place in Billings. Food is authentic with large portions. Definitely will return. The owner, a lovely Cajun lady, often visits tables to regale customers about live along the bayou.
Fried Oysters were the best I've eaten since living back in Boston. Very nice lady at the counter. Very impressed. The chips were yummy too. Worth every penny.

Best Louisiana cuisine I’ve had outside of NOLA and better than a lot that I’ve had in NOLA. I had a takeout order of the Catfish Tchopatoulas (a huge portion of crawfish étouffée, rice, and really well seasoned grilled catfish) it was really good. The staff was extremely friendly and the restaurant itself is in a beautiful building.
